| Description | On May 2018 the European Commission, following consultations with culture sector stakeholders, adopted a New European Agenda for Culture. It promotes synergies across cultural sectors and with other policy fields and it aims to harness the full potential of culture to address current societal challenges, supporting inclusion and intercultural dialogue, innovation, creativity and sustainable growth. The involvement and a close cooperation with the European Parliament, the Council and the Member States, as well as all culture sector stakeholders, will be a key tool for the successful implementation of the New Agenda and the actions therein require. |
